Learn how to locate acupuncture points through palpation! Practice palpating the channels and anatomical landmarks to accurately locate important points. This class will reveal the meaning of the acupuncture point as defined by the classics of traditional Chinese medicine and investigate important point locations through both the texts and anatomy. The class will have a hands-on portion to guide students in the location of channels and points through palpation. With successful location, students will have the opportunity to practice needling with the appropriate depth and angle to achieve de Qi sensation.

• The meaning of an acupuncture point as defined by the classic texts

• How to locate important acupuncture points through knowledge of the texts combined with anatomy and palpation

• To notice textural changes in the channels and points and use this to further inform the treatment

• How to needle important points with appropriate depth and angle
